JAI’s advanced product offering includes a set of 3-sensor R-G-B color line scan cameras for industrial machine vision applications. Part of the Sweep+ Series, these cameras feature state-of-the-art prism technology providing the best possible performance, precision, and versatility for line scan imaging in continuous production flows. 3-CMOS or 3-CCD sensors are precisely-aligned on a beam-splitter prism to a common optical path providing solutions that are easy to set up, with higher color precision and less color degradation over time than trilinear color cameras.
The SW-2001T-CL is a high performance prism-based industrial RGB color line scan camera with three separate imagers for simultaneously capturing red, green and blue light. Through advanced prism technology it provides the best possible performance and precision for web-based or continuous imaging applications.
High Speed Line Scan Imaging: The SW-2001T-CL camera outputs 3 x 2048 pixel resolution at 19,048 lines per second, while maintaining image quality at a signal-to-noise ratio of 58 dB
Supreme RGB Color Reproduction: In JAI’s multi-sensor color line scan cameras, the coatings on the prism efficiently filter the RGB light spectrum to each individual sensor, providing steep spectral curves that minimize color “crosstalk” for supreme color precision.
Line Scan Images Free From Halo Effects: Prism technology makes it possible to view the red, green and blue channels through a single optical plane. This method eliminates off-angle viewing problems, spatial compensation, and other issues that can be associated with tri-linear camera technology.
