BP470 filters enhance viewing of subjects illuminated by blue LED lighting and any UV- excited blue fluorescence emissions (430-500nm).  Its broad bandwidth and high peak (T ≥90%) transmission results in significantly brighter, higher contrast images. For most machine vision UV fluorescence applications, use of a BP470 filter is absolutely necessary.
