ZEISS Otus ML 1.4/85 Lens
Highlights
The ZEISS Otus ML 1.4/85 is an 85 mm f/1.4 manual-focus prime lens optimized for full-frame portrait imaging and professional visual storytelling. Its Sonnar optical design uses 15 elements in 11 groups, including an aspherical optical surface and special glass with anomalous partial dispersion, while a 43 mm image field provides full-frame 36 mm-format coverage.
Standard commercial versions are available for Sony E, Canon RF, and Nikon Z mirrorless cameras. Custom M42 and M58 configurations are also available for B2B and industrial systems, with locking collars similar to those used on ZEISS Interlock lenses. The industrial offering uses a short 20 mm flange focal distance, and M58 pricing is available upon request.
