Vivid Engineering CLT-371 Translator

The Vivid Engineering CLT-371 translator converts CameraLink to HD-SDI, enabling the use of CameraLink cameras with HD-SDI monitors and other equipment. The CLT-371 works with most color and monochrome base-configuration cameras. HD-SDI output is either 1920×1080 or 1280×720. Features include automatic frame rate adaptation, Bayer white balance correction, camera synchronization support, and an RS-232 port for camera set-up and control. The Vivid Engineering CLT-371 translator supports PoCL cameras and HDMI / DVI-D output using external adapters. No special software or programming is required, CLT-371 configuration is via rear-panel switch settings. The Vivid Engineering CLT-371 translator is housed in a sturdy aluminum enclosure, supports CameraLink to HDMI, and CameraLink to DVI via an inexpensive external adapter, connects to cameras with mini connector via adapting cables, & connects to PoCL cameras via the CLR-102 repeater/adapter! The Vivid Engineering CLT-371 Translator is designed to work with most CameraLink base configuration cameras. A “base” configuration camera can be identified by the existence of just one CameraLink connector. The CLT-371 incorporates the standard CameraLink “MDR” (i.e. full size). A standard CameraLink cable is used to connect the camera to the CLT-371. Cameras with the “mini” (i.e. HDR/SDR) CameraLink connector are connected to the CLT-371 using readily-available adapting cables with and MDR connector on one end and an HDR/SDR on the other.
