The SRMHXTRWP-12 Series Sunlight Readable waterproof panel-mount touch screen monitor is designed to operate in direct bright sunlight, or in other high ambient-light conditions. They utilize state-of-the-art LED Backlights to produce 1,000 to 1,500 nits of brightness (vs. 250-300 nits for standard monitors). The 5-wire resistive touch screen can be activated by almost any object — gloved finger, stylus, pen, etc. They are ideal for use outdoors, in wash-down environments, or where liquids, steam or moisture may damage standard monitors. The SRMHXTRWP-12 Series is perfect for use in a wide range of industrial, marine, military, manufacturing, inspection, advertising, and transportation applications where viewability in direct, bright sunlight is crucial.
