The Imaging Source DFM 47GX568-ML Color Board Camera
Highlights
The Imaging Source DFM 47GX568-ML Color Board Camera is a compact 5 MP GigE board-level camera built around the Sony IMX568 Pregius S CMOS sensor. It captures 2,448 × 2,048 color images at up to 23 fps with 2.74 µm pixels and a global shutter.
Designed for OEM and space-constrained machine-vision integration, the camera combines an angled RJ45 GigE interface with an M12x0.5 lens mount in a compact 36 × 38 × 17 mm form factor. External triggering, two digital outputs, GigE Vision support, and IEEE 1588 PTP provide flexible integration into synchronized industrial imaging systems.
Features
- 5 MP resolution with a full image size of 2,448 × 2,048 pixels.
- Up to 23 fps at full resolution using the BayerGB8 output format.
- Sony IMX568 sensor based on Pregius S CMOS technology.
- Global-shutter operation for capturing moving objects without rolling-shutter distortion.
- 2.74 µm pixels on a 1/1.8-inch sensor with a 6.7 × 5.6 mm active area.
- Color image output with Bayer, YUV, RGB24 and monochrome output formats.
- GigE Vision interface using an angled RJ45 connector for flexible network integration.
- M12x0.5 lens mount supports compact optical integration in embedded and OEM systems.
- No IR-cut filter extends the color sensor’s response beyond a standard filtered color configuration.
- External trigger and digital outputs with one trigger input and two open-drain outputs.
- Automatic exposure and gain provide adaptable image control under changing illumination.
- Automatic and manual white balance support controlled color reproduction across varying illumination conditions.
- Partial scan and 2× skipping provide flexible control over image dimensions and sensor readout.
- IEEE 1588 PTP and scheduled actions support synchronized, time-controlled image acquisition across compatible network devices.
