Highlights

The Kaya Instruments Predator II KY-FGP-II-CLHS is a low-cost Frame Grabber compatible with Camera Link High Speed. The Predator II is capable of receiving video streams over a single SFPT Fiber Transcend. The Frame Grabber is Camera Link High Speed Compatible up to 10 Gbps. This fiber frame grabber is ideally suited for industrial, defense, and aerospace Machine Vision Systems applications.

The Predator II can easily receive video streams on the Fiber link and transmit them to computer memory through the PCIe interface. This product also provides GPIO for machine control signals such as triggers, shaft encoders, exposure control, and general I/O, which can be controlled aside from the video stream acquisition.

The Predator II uses standard SFPT 10 Gbps Transcend as a CoaXPress interface to the camera and standard D-sub Panel Mount connector for general purpose I/O. The frame grabber utilizes PCIe Gen2 x4 links for communication with Host PC for video uploading and configuration.
