autoVimation Enclosures Gecko
Highlights
On the outside, the Gecko enclosure features the same dimensions as the Salamander. Due to the thinner wall however it offers slightly more room for cameras that just do not fit into the Salamander range. The Gecko is currently used for Vision Components VC4XXX and the Flir ax5 thermal imaging cameras (with Germanium windows). The Gecko is available with rear wall A, B or C as well. The Gecko is also compatible to Autovimation’s Machine-Vision Construction Kit, based on dovetail profiles and mounting brackets.
Features
- Space for slightly larger cameras: that do not fit into the Salamander enclosure, for instance the Flir ax5 and Vision Components’ VC4xxx camera series. The outer form factor is however the same as with the Salamander enclosure

- Dovetail profiles enable robust enclosure mounting: on all 4 sides along the entire profile. Mounting brackets resist a displacement force of up to 3000 N! Simple adjustment of working distance

- Compatible with large range of accessories: variety of mounting and adjustment brackets, water cooling, controlled heating plate and more
- High chemical resistance: due to Viton, NBR and TPE sealing materials. Contact us for any special requirements
- Vibration proof mounting and passive camera cooling: thanks to Autovimation’s patented Quick-Lock and Heat-Guide camera mounting system (part of delivery)
- Available with Germanium window for thermal cameras
