Highlights

The CameraLink HS interface has become a new machine vision connectivity standard. As a group, we are working with the Camera Link HS subcommittee to bring reference designs and a more complete specification to the table for industry use as the next generation Machine Vision interface. Camera Link HS cables are designed to specifically meet the demanding needs of vision and imaging applications. Its low latency, low jitter, real-time signals between a camera and a frame grabber carry image data and configuration data. The CameraLink HS interface takes the key strengths of Camera Link and adds new features and functions to meet customer’s demands today and tomorrow.

Standard Firewire IEEE-1394 Cables are widely available. However, for most industrial applications the use of locking screw connectors is an industry standard. Saber1 can manufacture cable options for high flex and environmental specifications or any combination of Firewire IEEE-1394 Cables. We can also supply the most common cables from stock. The FireWire standard cable length is typically 4.5 m. however, custom cables depending on the bandwidth needed, distances of 20 m is possible with FireWire A.

CoaXPress cables from Saber1 combines the traditional simplicity of coaxial cable with state of the art high-speed serial data technology. The CoaXPress standard 1.0 and 1.1 supports bit rates up to 6.25 Gbit/s per coaxial cable and the new 2.0 standard supports bit rates up to 12.5 Gbit/s per coaxial cable from the ‘device’ to the ‘host’. Standard RG59 and RG6 coax offer flexibility, reliability, and easy integration of video, communication, control and power over a single coax cable. Cable lengths greater than 100m can be achieved without hubs, repeaters, or other intermediary equipment. Use our step by step table to figure out the exact CoaXPress Cables you need.

CameraLink cables from Saber1 offer you high flexibility and reliable performance required for machine vision and industrial vision systems. Mini delta ribbon (MDR) connectors and shrunk delta ribbon (SDR) connectors are the two main types of connectors used in CameraLink cables for machine vision applications . Each is widely available but used in different types of applications. For Base configurations we recommend one Cameralink cable and for Medium, Full and, Deca configurations two Cameralink cables are required.
