Standard Firewire IEEE-1394 Cables are widely available. However, for most industrial applications the use of locking screw connectors is an industry standard. CameraLink cables from Saber1 offer you high flexibility and reliable performance required for machine vision and industrial vision systems. Mini delta ribbon (MDR) connectors and shrunk delta ribbon (SDR) connectors are the two main types of connectors used in CameraLink cables for machine vision applications . Bit Maxx Long Distance CameraLink Cables (MVP-EP)
Technology
Bit Maxx technology utilizes pre-emphasis and equalization to extend the distance between camera link cables. Equalization is an analog technique that reverses the cable’s low-pass effect with a high-pass filter to recover and restore the original signal. Pre-emphasis is a unique signal-improving technique that opens the eye pattern at the far end of the cable for point-to-point applications. It adds additional output current during the bit’s transition time.
