The Prophotonix SpecBright Spot Lights utilize Chip-on-Board LED arrays to provide extremely bright, uniform light from a compact form factor. These lights are designed for easy installation and the many options available make them an ideal solution for many applications. ProPhotonix SpecBright™ LED Spot lights to offer several times the brightness of lights of comparable size that use conventional through-hole or surface mount LED-based arrays. Four high brightness chip-on-board LEDs are placed in a 2.5mm x 2.5mm array. This array produces a much higher source intensity compared to conventional LEDs. ProPhotonix’s superior thermal management allows the LEDs to be driven to their full potential ensuring the longest possible lifetime and stability. For optimum performance, the light is focused in a narrowly divergent beam by molded TIR (Total Internal Reflection) lens optics producing extremely bright spots from very short to very long working distances. These units are ideal for OEMs, system integrators and end-users who require extremely compact and long-lasting illumination sources for their high-performance applications. The Prophotonix SpecBright Spot Lights are available in a range of wavelengths making them suitable for a wide range of applications, including machine vision, ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) as well as life sciences applications. The illuminators can be operated in continuous wave (CW) or pulsed mode.
