MODEL DETAILS DOWNLOADS
ActiveGigE Active GigE is a universal GigE Vision Driver and hardware-independent SDK designed to provide developers with a rapid access to GigE Vision (Gigabit Ethernet) digital cameras. Just drop an ActiveGigE control onto the surface of your application and have it immediately support multiple GigEVision cameras. With ActiveGigE your application does not have to rely on a specific camera model - any GigE Vision™ compliant camera will work with it out-of-the-box in any popular development environment, such as Visual Studio, Visual Basic (VB), Delphi, PowerBuilder, Java, Matlab, Python. You can even insert an ActiveGigE object into an MS Word or PowerPoint document and have the live video embedded right into your presentation! In addition you can:
  • ActiveGigEAcquire and display live video from one or several GigE Vision™ cameras.
  • Select among multiple camera sources.
  • Stream video from a single camera to several computers and applications using the Multicast mode.
  • Set the desired video format and triggering mode.
  • Select among several hardware and software trigger sources and trigger modes.
  • Grab 8-, 10-, 12- or 16-bit per channel monochrome and color images.
  • Perform automatic color interpolation of raw video generated by Bayer cameras.
  • Choose the desired frame rate.
  • Select the desired size and position of the scan area.
  • Browse through GenICam categories and features reported by camera.
  • Adjust multiple camera features in real time using built-in property pages.
  • Activate automatic or one-push control over selected camera features.
  • Save camera settings as user sets and reload them on demand.
  • Control non-standard camera features by direct access to camera registers.
  • Choose among several palettes for pseudo-color display.
  • Get an instant access to pixel values and pixel arrays.
  • Retrieve individual color planes from RGB images.
  • Import live video into PictureBox objects.
  • Save images in BMP, TIFF and JPEG formats.
  • Perform time-lapse capture to AVI files and image sequences.
  • AVI 2.0 support with unlimited file size, selectable compression and adjustable playback rate.
  • Get a timestamp information for each individual frame.
  • Flip and rotate live image.
  • Perform image processing on incoming frames and display them in real time.
  • Implement built-in background correction.
  • Perform real-time histogram and statistical analysis over a selected color component.
  • Synchronize video rendering with the monitor refresh rate to eliminate the tearing artifact.
  • Display and save images from multiple cameras using the included GigE Vision viewer
  • Interface to third party imaging applications through the TWAIN driver.
  • DirectShow Video Capture (WDM) interface to third-party video-recording applications.
  • ActiveGigENew! Signed network filter driver for Windows Vista and Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)
  • New! Multicast support in the filter driver and API.
  • New! Real-time running average and integration of video frames
  • New! User-defined pre- and post-processing of video frames
  • New! Built-in LUT (lookup table), software brighnest, contrast and WB control
  • New! Compatibility with Matlab R2010b as well as older Matlab versoins
  • New! New sample applications in Matlab, Python, Adobe Flash.
  • New! Compatibility with GigE Vision 2.0 and GenICam SFNC 1.3
  • New! Enhanced thread-scheduling for dual-CPU and hyperthreading support.
Ability to run multiple copies of ActiveGigE in one application guarantees independent adjustment and seamless parallel acquisition from multiple GigE Vision cameras in both the design and run-time modes, under Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, Windows 7, Vista 64-bit, Windows 7 64-bit. ActiveGigE setup includes extensive documentation and source code samples for Visual C++, Visual Basic, HTML, VB.NET, C#, Delphi, Matlab, Python and DirectShow demonstrating live video capture, image processing and analysis, storing acquired images in different formats, full control over camera settings, and many more.
Brochure (PDF)
eBUS SDK Designed for use in high-performance digital imaging systems, this comprehensive software development kit (SDK) is interoperable with both Pleora and third-party devices supporting GigE Vision® and GenICam™ standards.

Video Acquisition
eBUS SDKPleora’s eBUS™ SDK is a feature-rich toolkit that allows Windows and Linux developers to produce advanced applications in a short timeframe. Included with this SDK is Pleora’s eBUS Universal Pro driver, which serves to increase throughput and performance while decreasing latency and jitter.

Video Transmission
Pleora’s Video Server API, a feature of the SDK, can be used to create applications which manipulate video streams, prior to retransmitting them to their final destination. Advanced vision system applications can blend or stitch together images from multiple cameras, highlight areas of interest in images, and perform other transformations.
  • Receive and transmit image streams with a single SDK
  • Real-time video transfer with low, consistent latency
  • Comprehensive set of sample code and documentation
  • User interface controls for high-performance display
  • GigE Vision- and GenICam-compliant
  • Extensive rebranding and repackaging capabilities
  • Works seamlessly with Pleora’s iPORT™ and vDisplay™ IP engines, as well as GigE Vision- and GenICam-compliant products from other vendors
Compatabile Vision Standards:
  • GiGE Vision
  • GEN<i>CAM
